Since 2009, MGF has been collecting books of interest to Mediterranean gardeners. The nucleus of the collection arrived as a gift from the horticultural magazine, Lien Horticole, and this was followed by gifts from members, notably Louisa Jones, writer of some of the best books on gardens in the south of France. As new and interesting books are published we use branch funds to make purchases and we now have almost 300 volumes, in both French and English. The library is housed at the home of Chantal and André Guiraud in Montpellier.

Depuis 2009, MGF collectionne des livres qui sont d’un intérêt particulier pour les jardiniers méditerranéens. Le noyau de cette collection nous est parvenu comme cadeau du journal horticole Lien Horticole, augmenté de dons de membres, surtout de la part de Louisa Jones, auteur de livres qui sont parmi les meilleurs sur le jardin méridional. Au fur et à mesure de la publication de livres intéressants nous utilisons les ressources de la filiale pour en acheter et à l’heure actuelle nous possédons presque 300 livres, soit en anglais et soit en français. La bibliothèque se trouve chez Chantal et André Guiraud à Montpellier.

To borrow a book:
Make your choice from the catalogue, then send an email to Chantal. You can collect your books from Montpellier, or Chantal will bring them to the next MGF Occitanie activity. Books can be returned next time you attend an event or passed on to another member for return.

Pour emprunter un livre:
Parcourez le catalogue, faîtes votre choix et envoyez un mail à Chantal. Venez prendre vos livres à Montpellier ou bien Chantal les apportera à la prochaine réunion de MGF Occitanie. Vous pouvez restituer les livres lors de la prochaine réunion ou bien demander à un autre membre de le faire à votre place.
